About Us

Our Story

Crafted with Purpose. Built to Last.

Our story begins in the 1990s with a machinist and a lot of Aluminum. My dad, a craftsman by trade, spent his time tinkering—creating all sorts of shiny pieces from solid stock, more for passion than profit. It wasn’t until years later, when I joined him and we opened  Alumination Canada

Together, we turned that small workshop into something more. For over 11 years, through the ups, the downs, and even the uncertainties of COVID, we poured our hearts into building a business—not just a business, but a classroom. We call those years our education in entrepreneurship. We learned not just how to manufacture, but how to serve. How to listen. How to do more.

That journey has now led us to Alumination America.

This isn’t just a new branch — it’s a deeper purpose. After so many customers reached out, asking if we could create something special to honor their loved ones, we knew we had to listen. Starting in March 2020, we quietly began the work. Around that time we experienced our own loss and after searching for a quality product ourselves a true passion was born. Over the next five years, we researched and developed every detail with care: from the thickness required for a truly solid piece that could withstand time and pressure, to precision-machined threads that seal flawlessly — impenetrable, secure, and built to feel like a vault. We tested different finishes to ensure they wouldn’t fade or chip. We sourced high-grade aluminum from North America to maintain integrity over centuries. We engineered the internal clearances so ashes would never be disturbed, even if the urn was moved or passed down. Every curve, every component, every option — from engraving to candleholders — was carefully considered to create something that would last not just a lifetime, but far beyond. We weren’t interested in making just another urn. We wanted to make one worthy of the stories it would hold.

Our family created a drink-line that we are very proud of. We created a goblet that a truck could park on and then customers took on the challenge. Truly unbreakable!!! The truth is nobody needs drinkware as tough as ours, so we built something that does need to be unbreakable. We saw a need in one of the most sensitive and meaningful times in a person’s life: the loss of a loved one. After visiting funeral homes and meeting with distributors, we were honestly shocked. Not just by the quality of many of the available urns—but by how little those selling them actually knew about the products, who was making them, how they were made, even the materials they are made from. Pieces were being marked up multiple times, imported in bulk, and often made from poor materials that wouldn’t hold up with time.

That didn’t sit right with us.

We believe that the vessel you choose to hold your loved one should be worthy of their memory. Whether you plan to bury it, or keep it close on a shelf, it should feel solid, secure, and timeless. That’s why we machine each piece from solid aluminum right here in North America, with precision threads that seal shut like a vault—ensuring the contents stay protected for generations, if not millennia.

We’re not just here to make urns. We’re here to make something that feels right—crafted with care, backed by experience, and priced as fairly as possible. We’ll never cut corners, and we’ll always stand behind our work. Because during life’s hardest moments, you deserve something you can trust.

Whats Next

During these times of economical challenges it is very important to us to be able to provide these pieces at a price that is affordable. It already is challenging with consistent increases in the cost of local materials and operating costs. However, As part of our commitment to transparency and accessibility, we're working closely with distributors and funeral homes who align with our mission. While the traditional supply chain often adds multiple layers of markup, our goal is to make meaningful memorial pieces more accessible without sacrificing quality or local materials.

In the coming months, we'll be launching a dedicated page listing the funeral homes across Canada that proudly carry our urns. These partners understand the importance of value and craftsmanship, and we're grateful to grow alongside them.

Also, we are currently working on two new designs that have never been seen before. We will be releasing them on our facebook page and website once complete. If you would like to see anything specific please reach out and we will see what we can create together!
